I've been thinking a lot recently about what I can and cannot control regarding my own contents on the internet. As a result, I have progressively removed profiles which have been indexed by google (amongst others) without giving me the option to opt out.
This blog itself is NOT indexed, and thus - as with facebook - I had been reasonably comfortable that it would only be accessed by its intended audience, however it would seem it can be syndicated without my knowledge.
To this end (and in acknowledgment of low readership rates) I think it has come to the end of its natural life.
